My poor boy is officially TERRIFIED of something...this creepy puppet
boy on the commercial. Every time it comes on he darts to Nate or me,
bawling, wanting us to pick him up. Today he did a little better. He
jumped on the couch and somewhat hid his eyes. Poor Lanny...I don't blame ya!

Happy Mothers Day!
Words
cannot express the love I have for these two babies of mine; I wouldn't
trade this calling for anything in the world. As hard as being a mother
is, it's the most rewarding thing I have ever done.
My thoughts and
prayers are with all the mothers around me that have recently lost
little ones, and little ones that have recently lost their mothers. The
only thing that brings me peace to these heartbreaking situations is
God's plan that allows us to return to our eternal families.
I am also so grateful for all the mothers and grandmothers in my life. I am surrounded by some pretty amazing women and I feel so blessed to have them in my live. Especially my mom, Love you!

Wednesday was our family's Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Gailey's house...
However, sweet little Landon was told by the doctor that he had a virus, 20 minutes before the hunt was to start :( We were heart broken
that he didn't get to hunt eggs with his cousins. Grandma and Grandpa
were nice to let him come hunt eggs before the rest of the cousins
arrived though. At least he is still young enough to not know what he missed out on. And we had to remind ourselves that this bummer of a situation is
only a tiny trial.
Friday we went back to the doctor to make sure his fever wasn't due to an oncoming ear infection. Thankfully, no ear infections. And no more fever so the doctor cleared him of being contagious. This meant we got to go to the church Easter egg hunt!
This was the first time I ventured out of the house with both kiddos
without daddy, or car seats or a stroller to contain them. It was exhausting but Landon had a blast. And I had a
blast watching him. Ps- Mad props to all you moms with more than one little
kiddo that get out of the house on a regular basis. As fun as it was, it was equally, if not more, exhausting.
And today is Easter. What a special day, to remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ. How comforting it is to know He lives, and we too will be resurrected and be able to live with Him again someday.
Today, along with attending church, the kids got their Easter bags and Landon got to smash confetti filled eggs!
Happy Easter everyone!
