I couldn't be more excited to announce that the family patterns have finally been broken!
Bring on the bows, dresses and pink fluffy things :)

I couldn't have asked for a more prefect outcome of big brother, little sister. We are so excited to meet our baby girl!

It looks like baby girl approves, too...

Love date nights with my handsome boys! If you have never tried SubZero Ice Cream we highly recommend it. It has become our new favorite place. Not for the flavors, but for the fact that they freeze the ice cream right before your eyes. Pretty awesome stuff!

Here is a video from another visit to SubZero:

Today was a special day because Landon and I got to see Papa and Great Grammy during their layover to Alaska. My grammy is so smart and booked the flight that had the layover in SLC so she and my dad could visit us for a couple of hours rather than having to kill time at some random airport. I was so grateful for the couple of hours we were with them.

They brought Lanny lots of fun birthday gifts and enjoyed spending time with him. It was short but so sweet.

Yesterday was the 4th of July, and we had another fun day! We explored a little during the day, went to Salt Lake for lunch, came home and made my grammy's potato salad then headed to Syracuse for some swimming and fire works! Nate loves putting on a good firework show for the kiddos and Landon loved it! I thought he would be scared by the loud noises but he couldn't get enough of it. He even loved the sparklers, but he wanted me to hold it. I was ok with that :)

Today my mom had to leave but we loved having her visit! We are going to miss you grandma! (She couldn't take off without leaving Lanny with a kiss)

I really can't believe how fast this first year has gone by. It seems like not too long ago we were taking our sweet 8 pound 9 ounce baby boy home from the hospital. It has been the best year of our lives and we absolutely love being parents to our outgoing Landers.

My mom came in to town for his birthday and we were so happy to have her here. I'm pretty sure she was happy to be here too, seeing her grandson :)

I'm sure I am just crazy but I swear, Landon looked like a baby last night and this morning looked like a toddler. It made me sad and happy all at the same time.

We started the day off with breakfast at Village Inn.
Then we ran some birthday party errands, did some hanging out, then got ready for his party. We had his birthday at the park by our house and it turned out great.

(Raegan, Landon's gf, is one day younger than him)

I loved the way everything turned out. From the sprinkle covered cupcakes with red and white flags to the mason jar centerpieces with real goldfish swimming inside. All the kids especially loved the pinata. That was something I grew up having at my birthday parties so I thought it would be fun to pass that tradition down to my kids. It was a hit.
