I absolutely love watching Landon explore things he can do and all of his new phases he goes through.
This might be one of my favorite....I call it...the Grandpa Face.

We had the privilege of taking a trip down to AZ for thanksgiving this week; we had a great time seeing our family and friends.

It was so fun taking Landon back home and letting him meet so many people and taking him to some fun places.

Here are some highlights:

At the airport. Landon woke up with a fever the morning we were supposed to leave. Nate took him to the pediatrician at 5am and we were still able to make our morning flight!
Poor buddy :(

Both boys crashed at the terminal because of Landers having a rough (sick) night and morning.

Despite being sick, he was perfect on the plane. Not a single cry.
It made us so sad though to see him so miserable and helpless.

Waking up in AZ

Visit to the Hall of Flame

A stop at Paletas Betty.
Because of the parking on Mill Ave, we dropped Nate off to grab a few and we picked him back up.
When he got back in the car we learned he bought one of every flavor!
So we sat in the car, driving back home, and passing around these 13 popsicles taking a bite of each.
My favorite was the pecan one...

We had to have dinner at Ra, I was craving their Volcano Roll!
No one else does the volcano like them.

We got to see my best friend from 4th grade. I have missed her so much, we haven't talked for years!

At the airport, on our way home, I noticed they built a La Grande Orange inside. It is a restaurant that I love in Phoenix so I was so excited to see one there! Nate ended up surprising me with pistachio gelato from there while we waited to board :)

The whole trip was wonderful, I saw tons of people and got to introduce Landon to them. Being with my family was great and I miss them dearly already!

Well, we finally got our family pictures taken for Christmas...SO exciting!!
It makes me so excited for pictures for years to come, seeing our family change and grow in the future.
I love having our lives documented.

Tonight we all went out to Farr's Fresh in our pj's with a couple of friends. I love love love these pj's Landon has; they remind me of toy story and I love that movie!
It turns out that they also GLOW IN THE DARK!!
Jealous.

I think the jealous one here is Landon...he really wants big people food :)

Date night with my little guy:

He isn't a very polite date. I learned he went to the bathroom in his bumbo when I took him out after dinner....gross!

Landon recently discovered his tongue, within the past couple days.
I can't get over this phase of his, it makes me laugh so hard!

Today Landon had his first haircut.
It makes me sad to say.
But I am glad it wont get in his eyes now.
It was one of those moments as a mom where you take a million pictures, cry, and laugh, all at the same time.

I was so proud of my little man; he did a great job. The only time he cried was when he realized it was lunch time and he wasn't eating. A bottle quickly fixed that.

I thought about keeping his first lock of hair, but I decided against it.
Pictures do a lot better and are a little less gross.
But I totally get people doing it, so don't be offended that I didn't :)

Tonight we went to Cirque du Soleil.
It.Was.Amazing.

If you ever get the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it!

I have been waiting for this for years. Nate got me tickets in 2010, before we were even engaged. For some reason they cancelled two Salt Lake City shows...I thought I would never see the show.

Nate surprised me with front row tickets, it was so awesome!
In the begining of the show, they pulled a guy out of the audience and took him back stage. When they were putting a costume on him to help them with the first act, they then scanned the front row, came up to Nate, took his arm off of me, and took him the the other side of the stage. They sat him in the first guys chair, and put Nates arm around his girlfriend/wife. It immediately answered my question of "Did that guy know he was going to be picked out of the audience?" A couple next to me asked me the same thing when they took Nate. It was a great night, the acts and talents were unbelievable!

(this guy was our favorite, headless coatman. but he was never close enough to get a good picture)
