We got to make the exciting announcement today:

The previous posts that talk about it were not published until just now, so only our parents and siblings knew. But today we got to tell everyone!

I had a doctors appointment earlier today that was actually a little nerve wrecking. I went in and did the normal routine, and then it was time to check for the baby's heartbeat with the doppler thing. (My doctor doesn't do an ultrasound each time.) When she put it on me there was no heartbeat. She checked around for a while and still nothing. I was relatively calm though because I have been mentally prepared this pregnancy that something might happen. I think I am just more aware of the possibilities and I don't want to be completely caught off guard if something goes wrong. So the doctor said, "Let's go to the ultrasound room and check." I got on the table and as soon as she put the thing on my tummy I could see our peanut, and peanut's little heartbeat. I was relieved and so happy that he or she was ok. Peanut must have been sleeping because he/she wouldn't move until the doctor jiggled my tummy. Then it was soooo cute watching he/she move around. I didn't have any unplanned ultrasounds with Landon so it was fun to see suck a little thing in there moving :)

We are so excited that our family is growing and so excited to have gotten to share the great news! Now I don't feel like I have to hide anything (belly, sickness, tiredness, etc.) any longer :)

Today was an amazing day, my sister April and nephew Trevaughn got baptized!!!

I wish I could be there but I am so proud of their decisions to be baptized. I had lots of people sending me pictures so I kind of felt like I was there. I was pushing Landon's stroller around the neighborhood crying (happy tears) as I was receiving the pictures.

I love them so much and I am glad they had so many loving people there supporting them!

April with my best friend Clarissa (and baby Rut), who introduced me to the church 13 years ago!
Forever grateful to her and her family.

Anytime someone joins the church it makes me reflect back to my journey, and how grateful I am to all those that were an example to me. I am so blessed that I was able to do so many things beyond just attending church on Sundays. I couldn't be any happier with my life than I am right now and I know how true it is. I am grateful for my eternal family and so happy April's family will too get to experience great things.

Today was our first day in the pool for the year, and Landon's first time ever since he was in my tummy :)

He seemed to love being in the water but it was still a bit cold for his little body. It was so much fun seeing him in it though, makes me think of my childhood, I lived in the pool.

I have had a great Mother's Day Weekend!
My boys are so good to me :)

Mother's Day started yesterday when a few of my friends and I went to Kneaders for their Free Mother's Day (all you can eat) French Toast. I love their french toast anyways but Free!? Ok! It was divine as always :)

Later that day I stopped at Sweet Tooth Fairy for my Free Mothers Day Cupcake. One of my friends had mentioned it during breakfast so I didn't pass that up either!

This morning when I got up with Landon, we went downstairs for get breakfast and on Nate's chair was two gifts for me :) Landon, baby #2 and Nate got me a bamboo chopping block and a brand new toaster over. Two things that I have been wanting! AND the sweetest card that made me cry! I love them so much and I am so blessed to be Landon's and baby #2' momma.

We went to church and Nate was kind enough to take Landon to all three of his classes and let me just relax and focus on my classes :)

 Landon - 10 months

Today was our 8 week ultrasound!
It's so exciting getting to see your little one for the first time :)
Everything so far looked good.
And of course we got pictures of our little peanut!

Before the appointment I asked Nate if we could get a celebratory doughnut at this new place in Ogden called Beyond Glaze. Oh my goodness were they good! (And yes, that IS bacon!)
