Today I surprised Nate with an early birthday gift! He has been wanting to ride segways forever and we just havent had the opportunity. So, when an ad came in the paper about the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point, I rememerd they had segways so I thought it would be perfect!

I set up for a babysitter and Nate and I headed out. He isn't big on surprises so I ended up telling him on our way to drop off Landon. He was excited and so was I!

They were kind of hard to get used to, but then again, it only took a few minutes until I felt like a pro! They were sooo much fun, pretty inexpensive, and totally worth it! I would definitely recommend them!

SO much fun, hopefully we'll get to go do it again :)

Well, it's official.

Our house is up for sale.

Nate and I had been talking about putting our house up for sale after Thanksgiving/Christmas. However, ofcourse something had to happen to prevent that. The weekend before Christmas Nate and I were hosting a party and hours before the guests were to show up Nate noticed the Christmas tree was wet. Thats when we discovered a huge paint bubble above it that was drooped down, full of water.

Long story short, our master shower had a leak and tons of our sheet rock and other stuff was damaged. It took months going back and forth with the insurance company before they finally started on our bathroom.  It was just completed this week.

(I cant find the pictures of our demolished bathroom, but the whole thing was torn out and gutted.)

So our house is on the market and we are home hunting for something with a better layout for kiddos.

We are going to miss South Weber, our ward, and all of our amazing friends here. We are going to miss the memories in this house, where Nate and I began our relationship. But, we are excited for a new start and a new home for the both of us. (Nate had lived in this home a couple years before we even met.)

Hello 9 month old Landon

This month he:
-turns himself over in bed to sleep on his back
-ate BBQ for the first time and loved it
-discovered he likes lemons
-does this thing with his pointer finger that we named "shrimping"
-met his Washington relatives
-started rolling across the room
-says "dada"

Well, today is April Fool's Day...but the news we learned today is no joke...

              WE'RE EXPECTING!

I took a test a few days ago and it came back negative. However, I was pretty sure I was pregnant so I took another one today. And sure enough....

Our little one right now is the size of a poppy seed. Can you see it?

Last time I was pregnant with Landon, Nate and I found out together. This time, I wanted to surprise him. However, it didn't really go as planned haha. I took one of Landons onsies and wrote "BIG Brother" on it. He was wearing it when Nate got home. Nate picked up Landon and didnt say anyhting. So after a bit I said, "did you read his shirt?" He looked at it and had no reaction. Then I looked at him like "hello?!" and he looked at me and said, "I thought you werent?" (Because I told him I got a negative test the other day). I told him I didnt think I was but I took another test. So the happy reaction was kind of overshadowed by the confusion lol. But thats ok, it has since sunk in with happy emotions :)
