Last week Nate sent me a text asking if I was free Monday. When I told him yes, he told me that I needed to be at his work at 12:15 for a 401k meeting they wanted the wives to come to. He also said he already got a babysitter for Landon, which I was appreciative about. So Monday comes, I get Landon fed, dressed and to his aunts house to be watched and I headed to Nate's work. When I sat down in his office he handed me a sticky note and said "this is where you are going." I immediately said, "I have to go to the meeting alone? You aren't coming with?" If you know me well, I don't really like going to weird things like that alone. He then told me that there was no meeting, that the address was to a place where I was scheduled for a Prenatal Massage! I was so excited and surprised that I started to tear up, but I held it in because there was some other guy in the office lol. I LOVE LOVE surprises like that, but because I love them I am hard to surprise. Nate totally got me this time though, I had no idea.

I really don't know how I deserve Nate as my husband, but I am so grateful for him and all he does for me and our family. He is so caring and selfless, I am very blessed to have him.

Needless to say, that massage was amazing! It was sooo nice to be able to lay on my stomach (since they have a form thing with a hole for your tummy to go through.) My hubby is the best!

This year for Halloween, Landon was the perfect age to go pick out pumpkins! We stopped on the side of the road at a fruit/pumpkin stand and let him walk around to check them all out. I picked mine, Nate picked his and then Landon picked his own. I assumed we would let him walk around but then we would grab a small one for him but Nate grabbed the big one Landon pointed to. It was bigger than mine and his haha. But it was sweet that Nate got him the one he wanted :) We had fun watching him walk through them all.

A week before Halloween we had a few friends over for a Halloween Dinner and Pumpkin Carving, and so those that hadn't seen our house could see it. It's kind of funny that just a couple of years ago, it would be all of us adults hanging out, and now there are babies everywhere! And more on their way :)I wish I would have gotten a picture of them all. We had a chili bar that turned out pretty well. I made a big cauldron of chili and had fritos, baked potatoes and corn bread to go with. For the appetizers I did a pumpkin shaped cheese ball with crackers, pumpkin fruit dip and mini veggie in ranch cups. For drink I mixed apple cider and gingerale. Oh, and we also had wedge salads with toppings.
I absolutely loved the (real) baby pumpkins on branches as the centerpiece.

Nate and I decided not to carve our pumpkins, we just hung out with everyone instead. It was a fun night with great friends :)

On Halloween day, Nate's work had their annual Halloween lunch that Landon and I went to. I made White Chicken Chili for it but when I got there and was getting my plate, I saw that someone brought Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana....my FAVE! So exciting :) Hope everyone else like my chili haha.

We dressed up again that night but decided to lay low and not trick or treat. Landon would have been able to this year but we figured we weren't going to let him eat most of the candy so we will let him go next year. We just visited family and then passed out candy at home.

I was a Mummy (mommy), Nate was Michael Vick- a football player that is apparently always injured, and got in trouble for dog fighting (he is holding a stuffed dog with an ace bandage on, and Lanny was a little rockstar (he has a tattoo on his other arm.)
