Day 4: Night time...waiting for his arrival.

I am so excited to have my husband back at home in a little bit!
I doubt he will be looking at my blog between the airport and home so i'll go ahead and let you guys in on a little secret..

I cleaned the ENTIRE house!!!!
I have been planning this for weeks.

I dedicated:
Monday to our bedroom
Tuesday to our upstairs spare bedrooms
Wednesday to our entire basement
and Thursday to the kitchen, dining room and living room

It might not sound intense but i have never worked so hard cleaning in my life!
I stayed up till midnight each night cleaning and organizing.

The problem was...
This house was a Bachelor Pad before I came along.
There was some stuff left over from the old roommates and then there was all of Nate's stuff.
Well...moving all of my stuff from my last house AND everything that my dad so lovingly packed for me from my condo in AZ and brought up here during the wedding season....
EVERYTHING WAS EVERYWHERE
Thats not even mentioning the piles and piles in random parts throughout our house that were stuffed with wedding gifts we had not yet assigned a spot to.
Trust me: Our house was crazy!

You wouldn't have really thought if you had been over, BUT, you didn't see what was behind all of those closed doors! Not a pretty sight.

So these past few days I have been cleaning high and low, organizing everything from home decor to gift wrapping supplies, costumes and cake pedestals, board games to beach towels, you name it!

Day 3: I may or may not be starting to get used to it.

Doesnt mean I dont miss my man :(

It makes me realize just a bit more how much I love Nate..

I love his bald head
I love how often he makes me laugh
I love watching him play the drums (real & rockband)
I love cuddling with him
I love how he always does the dishes after I cook
I love how well he can act like a little kid
I love how much he loves children
I love watching his love for our whole family
I love seeing how great of a brother and son he is
I love that he loves the Temple
I love how hot he looks on his motorcycle
I love that even though we both love the bike, he wants to sell it so we can be safe now that we will be starting a family
I love how great he is at his job
I love his random quotes that I have no idea where they come from
I love watching him teach our primary kids
I love that he loves cheese
I love that he supports all that I do
I love that he loves and appreciates my cooking

I love that he is coming home tomorrow night!!!

Day 2: Empty House

I thought it was it felt in this big house even when Nate was here...now that he is gone..wow.
I have to turn on every single light in order to not be scared.

It hasn't been as bad as I thought, but I still want my husband to be home with me.

Day 1: Nate left for Florida at 7:30am.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law invited me over for dinner, FHE, and a trip to Farr's Frozen Yogurt. I had so much fun with them and my nieces and nephew.

I watched my TV show tonight and got paranoid at every sound I heard coming from our house.

I got on Facebook to hopefully cause me to become tired...then Nate messaged me! He was awake too and he is two hours ahead of me there. Neither of us can sleep. I don't love this :/

I just got off of the phone with Clarissa Jo Baxter...my best friend since 6th grade! After I got off the phone with her I went to visit her blog, memories of things from over the years came back to me. I am so grateful to have such an amazing best friend! She has been there for me through everything and has helped me with so much. She is a wonderful wife, mother, best friend, daughter, and example! I have been so fortunate to follow in her footsteps and I hope and can continue doing so. Here are just a couple of pictures of her an I over the years...

This is me holding her first little baby girl Bou at the hospital...

I can't wait to some day have her hold my first little one.

Clarissa is the definition of best friend and I feel so blessed to have her in my life as mine!
